The Android Google Reader app is here!

I know a lot of people are giving up on RSS feeds for other ways of tracking their reading interests on the web, but I'm still using Google Reader to manage my online information for fun and work.

The Android Google Reader app is here!

Here is some information on Google Reader if you are not yet familiar with this tool. Google describes Google Reader as
...a tool for gathering, reading, and sharing all the interesting blogs and websites you read on the web.

Here is the Getting started with Google Reader page and here is the two-minute getting started tutorial video:

It's still a very good addition for the Android market. Even though you are right about people using other tools for following blogs, etc.; Google Reader is still a viable means to track conversations. We continue to recommend it in our Social Media Pro course.

Thanks for the news! Together with FeedDemon, which syncs through Google, I now have the ideal solution for reading my blog subscriptions across multiple PCs and my mobile phone.
