Google Launching Cloud Music Player

Google is set to announce tomorrow that it's launching a Cloud music player. First Amazon, now Google. Amazon said they didn't need licenses from the record companies and Google says they were "uncooperative." From the NY Times Bits blog:
Google plans to introduce its long-awaited cloud music player Tuesday at Google I/O, its developers conference in San Francisco. The service, which it calls Music Beta by Google, will let people upload their music collections to the Internet and listen to the songs on Android phones or tablets and on computers.

The Google player was leaked a couple of months ago, but now we'll have another official option for irritating the record companies.

Apparently Apple will be following up with their own Cloud player, but they're waiting for agreements with the record companies before proceeding.
