Using Gmail, Calendar and Docs without an internet connection

As noted by Google in this blog post, 
But it’s inevitable that you’ll occasionally find yourself in situations when you don’t have an internet connection, like planes, trains and carpools.
Because we know that's true, it's probably a good idea to be familiar with Google Apps in offline mode. If you're using Google Apps but not the Chrome Browser, this is probably a good time to move to Chrome.
