Is Your Computer Ready for Windows 7?

Microsoft tells us that, in general, if we're running Windows Vista we can upgrade to Windows 7. For that sizable chunk of the world that will be bypassing Vista and going directly to Windows 7 from Windows XP, they have a tool.

Here's the link for the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor beta

If you haven't upgraded to Vista because your current computer doesn't have the horsepower (memory or cpu), forget about running Windows 7. buy a new computer when service pack one for Windows 7 is released.

Note the caveat from Microsoft... "Important: The Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta is a pre-release version, and is available in U.S. English only. While we consider this a stable and high-quality beta, it's not the finished product."
