Amazon’s Disruptive Android App Store Now Open To Developers — Full Details

Some people prefer the way the Apple Apps store is controlled (some read that censored) by Apple, while others prefer the more open approach of Google with its Apps Store for Android. 


The Android world is getting even more open with  Amazon's foray into the market with their own, more restrictive Android Apps Store. The Amazon store might be a little safer than the Google store if you're not willing to Beta unknown apps. 


It's interesting that when following smartphones Microsoft and Blackberry seem to be afterthoughts - it's pretty much all Android and iPhone. That along with reported sales indicate that Blackberry continues its fall and Microsoft's Windows phone simply hasn't caught on. By the way, we recommend either iPhone or Android for business or personal use because of functionality, not popularity.
