Evernote And Add-on Tools That Boost Productivity

Evernote is an app/product that works across platforms (in my case, on a computer, phone and tablet) enabling
the saving notes, webpages, articles and pictures with or without an Internet connection.

The post below from American Express Open Forum reminded me how much I like Evernote. I use the free version, but I'm starting to get warnings that I'm close to the upload limit now that I use it regularly.

11 Evernote Tools That Boost Productivity : Technology :: American Express OPEN Forum:

Here's a video on Evernote for Android. Although this only refers to the Android platform, it gives a pretty good idea of how the tool works, especially in the mobile environment.

Two touches and I save a website or article to read or reference later. Instead of my paper planner to take notes, I use the tablet or, worst case with my fat thumbs, my phone to take notes in a meeting. I can actually read my misspellings in Evernote better than I could my chicken scratch paper notes.

If I'm using the tablet and don't have wifi, my notes are saved locally and uploaded as soon as I do have an Internet connection.

Evernote also enables the sharing of items directly from Evernote to Facebook, Twitter or via email.
