For those of you who really miss the preview pane from Outlook or like the feature on the iPad or Android, you can now preview emails through Gmail Labs.
When I saw this I thought I would most certainly be using it. However, I found I've become accustomed to the view I now have on my laptop and the preview pane really doesn't add enough to use it consistently. The good news is that it's one click away (or to put away) so it's very simple to test and use.
